Working in conjunction with c31 and General Assembly, the lab offers an 8-week hands-on experience where students, those starting out in their careers and specialists already established in their field will be part of the process of building a digital strategy, while learning the ins and outs of agency life.

For the businesses involved, they will receive a custom built strategy from one of Melbourne’s leading digital agencies at the fraction of the time, cost and effort.

Hailed an innovative approach to education, the Loud Days Lab looks to fill the gap between university education and the expectations of the Australian workforce, while offering organisations in the NPF, charity and social enterprise industries the opportunity to get their unique digital strategy developed to help achieve their digital and business objectives.

“Initially, providing students with a hands-on experience that would go beyond an internship, and deliver first-hand understanding of the agency workforce expectations was the driving force behind this initiative. We were looking to offer a solution to a growing training problem, but then the idea snowballed and took on a life of its’s own!

We have now launched the initiative with C31 and their community partners Amnesty InternationalAll Together NowChildren’s Ground and The Long Walk, and have signed on with General Assembly Melbourne as our event partner. This means that from students, to seasoned industry professionally wanting to give back, everyone will have something to add to our clients’ presented strategies.’

Running the inaugural ‘Lab’ will Loud Days agency leaders Gemma Browne (head of operations), Rosie Thompson (BDM) and Elana Harari (CEO) who over the last five years have grown Loud Days to a successful multi-million dollar business with a focus on results, agency culture and providing data-driven agile marketing solutions to clients.
